Since our chetsnut flour is organic it's for sure naturally NON GMO. It means that there was not any use of hormones during the growing and process. Which is prohibited in France

Growing the Chestnuts
The chestnut grove (farm) is located in the South of France. Because of the perfect climate and the quality of the chestnut, in 1997 the farm gets the protected region label.
Picking the right chestnuts
We pick and choose the good chestnuts to make our flour. An average of 20% of the chestnuts is not usable to get quality flour
Controlling the chestnuts
Once the chestnut are opened we control and select the chestnuts for the milling process.
